ART. F.O.U. 0:
Art. 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:
“Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.”
ART. F.O.U. 1:
From rent wars to temp work, squats respond to necessity by sharing goods.
We are legitimate occupants with no rights nor titles for buildings left empty without any real inhabitants.
ART. F.O.U. 2:
Requisition and civil disobedience, the squat is an alternative and a place to defend.
Housing for international emergencies, a public utility and a home for alternative lifestyles that are not so uncommon.
ART. F.O.U. 3:
Free spaces of creativity and exchange, squats gather each year for F.O.U. to open doors and minds.
ART. F.O.U. 4:
F.O.U., an inter-squat magma, will witness the assembly of different spaces coming together to move in the same direction for one month.
